The Federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari have been dedicated to the affairs of small and medium business owners, with the creation of the Ministry for Small and Medium Enterprises which is dedicated to providing help and support for entrepreneurs and artisans throughout the country.
Over 200,000 Nigerians have benefited from the initiatives of the MSME, with the just concluded Survival fund scheme giving money to not less than 200,000 people in total.
After the Survival fund, the Federal government have created another scheme termed the Guaranteed Off-Take Stimulus, which is a one off injection of a #50,000 fund into the business of some traders with specific products.
To qualify for the money, one need to possess these 3 things;
- Must be a Nigerian
- Must have a CAC certificate for their business.
- Must have a bank account and BVN.
