Her Excellency, Madame Lauriane Doumbouya, the First Lady of the Republic of Guinea, is widely recognized for her unwavering commitment to the advancement of women’s rights and early childhood development.

Madame Lauriane Doumbouya, the First Lady of the Republic of Guinea, was received with the utmost honor at the Kpaaf premises on Monday, October 23, 2023. Kpaaf is a professional training center dedicated to young girls, particularly in the field of fashion.
It is worth noting that the founder of this Vocational Training Institute is also the President of the Miss Guinea Organizing Committee.
During the visit, the First Lady had the privilege of meeting the pageant contestants and engaging in in-depth discussions on crucial issues related to women’s empowerment.
The theme chosen this year, « empowering women to combat irregular migration », is a central concern for the First Lady. She has therefore decided to be present and support COOMISGUI in its objective of enhancing the image of young Guinean women.

The Miss Guinée 2023 competition took place in Conakry, organized by the Comité d’Organisation de Miss Guinée (ComissGui).
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture, and officials from Lonagui.
Guinea Fashion Fest sisters Aminata Diallo and Binta Diallo have assumed responsibility for managing Guinea’s biggest beauty pageant, known as « Miss Guinea, » for the coming years.
The sisters already have a proven track record in organizing cultural events in Guinea. KPAAF Guinée will now put its expertise at the service of the authorities for the organization of the Miss Guinea contest, aimed at crowning the most beautiful Guinean woman of the year.
