What Will You Do?
As a Recovery Officer, you will have a range of tasks:
- Push for the recovery process at assigned locations and business units.
- Carry out frequent recovery drives against stubborn debtors.
- Start, watch, and follow up on complaints against dishonest debtors to law agencies.
- Give weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly recovery reports to Management.
- Provide clearance on system confirmations.
- Post recoveries made by customers and close finished accounts.
- Keep all trusted information safe.
- Work with Agents who are focused on debt recoveries.
- Attend court to track recovery cases in progress.
- Check on properties pledged as security for loans.
- Take over assets of debtors who can’t or won’t pay their debts.
- Review and suggest repayment plans submitted by customers to Management.
- Cooperate with the Court and law agencies on the bank’s properties being used by trespassers.
Who Can Apply for First Bank Nigeria Recruitment?
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A First Degree, preferably in Law, Accountancy, Computer Science, or other Social Science disciplines.
- At least 2 years of banking experience.
