Job Purpose: Ensuring Operational Efficiency

Key Accountabilities: What Will Be Expected Of You?
Airtel Nigeria expects the following of their General Ledger Executive:
- Ensuring accuracy in the recognition of Interconnect revenue & post-paid revenue without any under or over recognition.
- Achieving a zero level of bad debt by liaising with the partners for prompt payment and reconciliation of partners’ accounts.
- Making sure that all Interconnect partner’s accounts are reconciled and agreed with Interconnect Partners on a monthly basis.
- Ensuring that monthly Group closure reporting is done without error in line with SLA.
- Ensuring proper hygiene controls on all GL lines.
- Ensuring reconciled GL positions.
- Making certain that all schedules are reconciled to system balances.
Education & Experience: What Do You Need To Have?
To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate in Accounting, have a professional qualification in accounting, possess 3-5 years of experience in FMCG & Telecoms, and demonstrate strong analytical skills & MS Excel proficiency.
